   COALESCENCE, chapter 1

     · It would take thousands of lifetimes to enjoy all the wonderful landscapes this beautiful planet offers us. I have only seen a few, and yet, one could say I am a fortunate person.

No matter how near or far I travel with my camera, a hypnotic sensation washes over me whenever I am close to large bodies of water. I am fascinated by that undulating and fleeting line Nature draws between water and dry land. It is a feeling that emerges on the shores of seas, rivers, and lakes alike, when I become aware of the perfect unity created by the interdependence of both elements.

I am certain I am not the only one who experiences this. It is not hard to imagine how, since the dawn of humanity, that ephemeral natural border between both elements has evoked a feeling similar to gazing at the stars. There is something mysterious about it, something that transcends us.

From that sensation arises COALESCENCE, a photographic project that humbly aims to evoke something words cannot—something intangible, ethereal. I hope I am able to achieve it. This is the first part, photographed entirely in various Portuguese locations, but my intention is for this project to keep growing, and as long as life allows, to continue adding more adventures and new chapters to it.

With the sincere wish that this project inspires something beautiful in you, I present COALESCENCE, chapter 1.

  Naked Helsinki

With Naked Helsinki, I wanted to show a 'naked' vision of this wonderful Finnish city and its surroundings.

Without snow, without crowds, without rush... Without clothes or makeup, Naked Helsinki is a calm and quiet perspective of my experience through these beautiful enclaves.

I would love for you to feel some of the serenity with which I have tried to imbue each of these photographs.

  A Prague made of silence

A Prague made of silence is a photographic project in which I aim to showcase various scenes of Prague—one of the most visited European cities by tourists from all over the world—through the counterpoint of silence and stillness. To achieve this, it was often essential to use long exposures to create a sense of unease within such a chaotic environment.

The entire project was shot using a Fujifilm X-T4 and the Fujinon XF27mm F2.8 WR lens, which provides a perspective very similar to human vision, giving the project greater coherence and realism. Only two photographs were taken with the Fujinon XF50mm F2 R WR, used when it was absolutely impossible to get as close to the scene as I would have liked.

I heartfeltly hope you enjoy it.

  Beauty Loves Slow Tempo

Beauty Loves Slow Tempo is a photographic adventure that began to take shape in July 2014. A year and a half later, after many travels, immense dedication, and much love, it was born healthy and full of life in January 2016.

From the very beginning, its purpose was clearly defined: to remind us that beauty is always around us, in every single moment. However, it will go unnoticed if it finds us with a mind that is too restless or rushed. This is why the entire project is created using long-exposure photography, a fascinating technique that manages to soothe and slow down time until it dissolves into a single instant.

Beauty Loves Slow Tempo was photographed entirely in Southwestern Europe and is divided into six distinct parts: the island of Menorca, the island of Tenerife, the Ebro Delta, the Algarve (Portugal), the French Cerdanya and Arcalís, and the Spanish Cantabrian coast.

I would love for these photographs to fill you with calm and inspiration, and for all of us, together, to be able to restore the Harmony that the Earth deserves.
