Do you actually know what a Cinemagraph is? 'Cinemagraphs are still photographs in which a minor and repeated movement occurs, forming a video clip. They are published as an animated GIF or in other video formats, and can give the illusion that the viewer is watching an animation'. So well, here you have my brand new Cinemagraph project: 'Six dreams, Six Cinemagraph'. Hope you like it! Click here to watch it HD quality :)
'Beauty loves slow tempo' is a photographic adventure which started to take shape in July 2014. One year and a half later and, after many trips and much dedication and affection it has been born full of life in January 2016.
Since the beginning, the purpose has been perfectly defined. I wanted to remind that beauty is present all around and at any time. However, it would go unnoticed if our mind is busy and agitated. Due to this fact, the project has been carried out with long exposure photographs. This is an amazing photographic technique that appeases and slows down the perception of time until it is diluted to a mere instant.
All the photographs in Beauty loves slow tempo are taken in the South-west of Europe. There are 6 parts which could be perfectly differentiated: the island of Menorca, the island of Tenerife, the Ebro Delta area, Algarve (Portugal), French Cerdanya and Arcalís, and the Spanish northern coast of the Cantabrian Sea.
I would like that these photographs fill you with a sense of calm and inspiration, and that we all could be capable of restablishing the harmony that the Earth deserves.
I work on it slowly but steadily when time allows me :)
